At Sutra, we carry a wide selection of oil cartridges. Each with superior glass and construction, these cartridges are the perfect addition to any vape enthusiast's collection.
Why Oil Cartridges?
Oil Cartridges like Sutra Ex6 Oil Cartridge allow you to get the most out of your oils. First, they deliver delicious flavors with any pesky strong odors like smoke. Then, users connect them to the device of choice and enjoy those elevated, lifted sessions.
They also have a lot of benefits!
Starting with potency, Oil Cartridges like the Sutra Ex5 Oil Cartridge deliver powerful draws by using reduced temperatures to vaporize materials, eventually turning into vapor. In addition, the reduction in temperature preserves the flavors from your oils that sometimes otherwise get destroyed when you utilize the traditional way of smoking.
Another benefit is the ease of use. Sure, you can enjoy your oils in various ways, but oil cartridges just can't be beaten when it comes to easiness. Typically, oil cartridge will come already pre-filled. Leaving you to find a device to put the cartridge on; is super simple. But if it is fillable, simply fill the cartridge with your desired oil, screw it back to your device, and you're ready!
Oil Cartridges also provide a significant amount of discretion. With bongs or joints, you always worry about the smell and smoke. With a cartridge, on the other hand, you don't have to worry about drawing attention to those around you. Everything is self-contained, keeping the vapor from producing any funky odors. It is a completely discreet way to enjoy your favorite oils.
How to Use Oil Cartridges
Oil Cartridges are straightforward to use as well as operate. Coming either pre-filled or fillable, all you need is a compatible device, and you're ready to go.
If the oil cartridge is one you can fill like the Sutra Ex2 Oil Cartridge, you will need to start by screwing off the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is where you will find the gasket located inside that presses against the tempered glass cartridge. Internally, a connected thread keeps everything firmly in place, which ensures the cartridge does not leak any oil. About three turns, and the mouthpiece will be free.
Now that it's off, it's time to get your oil. Using either a syringe or dropper, carefully drop the oil between the center pole and the glass. Typically, cartridges are 0.5mL or 1mL in size, giving you a good amount. One good thing to remember is important to remember to fill your cartridge about halfway. You don't want to overfill your cartridge as it could leak or not work correctly.
After that, you screw the mouthpiece back on till it's nice and firm, then you're ready to enjoy. Simply screw it onto your vaporizer and press the power, then inhale. Easy as that!
Tips on Cleaning Your Oil Cartridge
Typically, a user can expect about 2 to 10 uses out of their cartridge before it needs to be replaced. Depending on the use and varicosity of the oil, this might vary. Although true for some, we do not recommend reusing your oil cartridge more than three times maximum.
When you continually reuse your oil cartridge, it can lead to burnt hits. Also, the burnt residue tends to remain in the oven leading to it getting dirty and muddy over time.
To make sure you get quality draws every time, it is always best to clean your cartridge in between sessions.
Here are some tips to help keep your Oil Cartridge Clean:
Starting things off, you will want a pipe cleaner, Q-Tip, or dab tool. With one of the tools, gently clean out your heating chamber. Usually, there will be leftover residue or burnt oils still in the chamber.
With the tool, rub the rim and inner lining of the chamber as well as the mouthpiece. You can even use rubbing alcohol to assist you; just make sure not to dose or drench the cleaning tool because you don't want ANY dripping into your cartridge. That's a big no-no!
Make sure to wipe away all residue, stroking in the same direction to help avoid any smearing around the chamber. Continue this same motion until no visible residue is left in the heating chamber. Remember not to apply too much pressure on the heating coil as it is sensitive and can be easily damaged, and once damaged, the entire vaporizer will not work properly.
Once the residue is cleaned, it is perfectly fine to screw your oil cartridge back onto your battery and enjoy!
Buying Your Oil Cartridge
Oil Cartridges are a must-have for collection. They allow you to indulge in smooth, refreshing draws of your favorite oils. Providing endless flavorful clouds, oil cartridges only cost you around $5 to $15 dollars, depending on the type you get.
Lower costing oil cartridges are usually made of plastic which is a significant economic choice but offers poor fitting and might cause leaks. While high-quality oil cartridges are constructed of Pyrex glass, metal or ceramic deliver an enhanced experience with better flavors and great, grand clouds. Usually, they'll have sealed joints to prevent contact between the air and cartridge contents.
